| New Target, and New Basketball team in Brooklyn. |
 |
New York the New Suburb? Is it us or Is NYC becoming
the biggest Suburb this side of the Mississippi?
Things are not as wild as they once were in NYC. When
I first moved here, eons ago. NYC was gritty. It
was a party waiting to happen at every corner you
turned. Now NYC is fast approaching Suburb style. And
let's get real, that's not all bad. Esp, When the first and
only Target in NYC is opening only 10 minutes from my
house in Fort Greene, Brooklyn - right over the
Manhattan Bridge. This is Exciting! What's
next, we hear a new Basketball team right across the
street. The Nets will soon have a new home in
Brooklyn. Rents are about to go even higher! Buy your
brownstone NOW kids!
Other exciting BK offerings, or things you must do
while here.
Forget going to Jr.s, the cheesecake is overrated if you
ask me. Go to THE PILLOW CAFE - GET THE ESPRESSO
SHAKE, located at 372 Myrtle Ave. Also pop over to one
of the most extensive EGYPTIAN WINGS at the
BROOKLYN MUSEUM. Or go to WEST ELM in DUMBO -
fun, forward furniture for cheap.
If you're in need of a kickass spring haircut, email Alex
at lexhws@aol.com She'll even come to you.
