After numerous fashion editors from all the major publications have requested information regarding new and emerging designers, JPR (affiliate company to Jordana PR International) has created the Fashion Designers Directory. The premiere issue is sponsored by Nolcha Fashion Week '09, and features the Nina Ricci watch collection. The directory will be distributed to over 4,000 editors around the country on a monthly basis and contains information and images on emerging designers from all over the world that are looking to expand their reach. There's Still A Need For Elegance |
 Hurray for the Fashion Industry! The Golden Globes Awards show confirmed that there is still a great need for elegance and glamour. Even though we're in this economic slump there still seems to be a craving for couture. Favorites of the night were Oscar De La Renta, worn by many, YSL, Armani Prive, Reem Acra, Versace, and Marchesa. This display instilled inspiration that carried through to other price points. Note the less expensive knockoffs that were made available the next day. The trend looks to be old Hollywood Glamour which never dies. Hopefully the excitement of the night will translate into sales. With New York Fashion Week around the corner, it will be exciting to see the mood of the Fall '09 collections. Will there be more glamour?
